Consider becoming a member of the Central Coast Climate Collaborative! Together, we can amplify our impact, building a more sustainable and resilient future—your organization’s voice and leadership are important!

Benefits of membership include:

• Accessing no-cost grant assistance to secure funding for your climate mitigation and adaptation initiatives, including support with opportunity and stakeholder mapping to grant writing and application coordination support
• Receiving individualized support from the 4C Management Team to help you navigate challenges and strengthen your team’s skills, such as in project management and facilitation
• Staying informed and equipped by receiving regionally relevant climate news, funding alerts, project updates, and other curated resources
• Participating in member-only gatherings, including both in-person and virtual member meetings, interactive workshops, skill-building trainings, and networking mixers, to exchange knowledge, learn about replicable strategies, and build critical relationships
• Joining a 4C subcommittee to guide regional policy advocacy efforts, shape impactful regional convenings, attract transformative climate investments into our region, accelerate community resilience hub development, and more
• Collaborating with fellow members to develop partnerships, funding proposals, conference session proposals, communication campaigns, and other joint efforts
• Shaping Central Coast climate priorities by co-designing innovative project concepts and guiding 4C’s regional fundraising efforts
• Influencing statewide initiatives through the Alliance of Regional Collaboratives for Climate Adaptation (ARCCA) and ARCCA’s Adaptation Policy Working Group to inform State policies and programs
• Demonstrating your climate leadership by elevating your work across 4C’s growing network, gaining statewide visibility, and contributing to collective action

Sliding Scale Membership:

We are committed to finding equitable pathways for participation and include organizations of all resource levels. We offer a sliding scale for membership dues, adjusted according to size and type of organization. Additionally, social and environmental justice groups join for free! 

Membership Reciprocity:

We value collaboration and community building which is why we offer membership reciprocity with other select climate groups. Through membership reciprocity, organizations can receive a 25% discount when seeking memberships from multiple participating organizations. The discount applies when two organizations partner, and each organization benefits from greater visibility, networking, and mutual support. Participating organizations are listed publicly, promote each other to their members, and work together on invoicing and dues remittance, making it easier to join forces and share resources. 

Donate to Equity Fund:

This opportunity enables under-resourced community-based organizations to participate in our collaborative efforts and uplifts marginalized voices to shape regional priorities. If you would like to make a voluntary contribution, please let us know the amount you would like to contribute in addition to your member dues.
